The Annual General Meeting of Gledholt Male Voice Choir was held on Tuesday, 17 July 2007 at the YMCA Lawrence Batley Suite, Salendine Nook.
The President, Dr Montague Segal opened the meeting, which heralded a new era in the administration of the choir.
Elections were held for all posts & Rajan Beadle was appointed as chairman following the retirement of Roger Ellis.
Dr Segal, Brian Clayton & John Taylor were re-elected as president, treasurer & secretary, respectively, and a new committee of D Turner, D Blakeborough, J Stalmach, G Haigh, S Daniels & R Leach was elected unanimously.
The treasurer’s report was presented by Brian Clayton & Sharon Topham presented the FOG (Friends of Gledholt) report in the absence of Jenny Haigh.
During his closing address, Roger Ellis thanked the officers and committee for their support and work during the recent 2 year period, but also for the whole of the period of his tenure.
During the meeting, Kenneth Wilson was presented with the choir shield in recognition of 25 years service to the choir.

The formal part of the meeting closed at 9.25 pm and everyone enjoyed a splendid supper.
