Christmas

Christmas is rather special for Gledholt Male Voice Choir. We start rehearsing from October for our main Christmas concert at St Paul's Hall in Huddersfield. We invite guests from individuals to groups. Last year we invited our own Chris Hawkins who impersonates Elvis. So it was Christmas with Elvis and we sang some pieces with Elvis.

This year we have invited some of the soloists from the Huddersfield Choral Society Youth Choir. They are delightful to listen to.

We also perform at other venues during the Christmas period. Roundhill Pub has invited the choir for many years to sing carols. We also have entertained the Probus members at Mirfield for a number of years.
